Taking regular medication for her mental illness, Olivia confides in her therapist Brooke over the need to get her own life back on track, free of her parents. Meets Ian at a party, her anxieties soon go into retreat as a relationship soon develops between them. However, Olivia becomes steadily suspicious of Ian, after she gathers evidence to suggest he may have killed his father. Testing his patience, Olivia keeps probing until discovering the contents of his basement. Coming clean, Ian invites himself to Olivia’s parents’ family night whereupon Olivia exposes and fatally stabs him. With a renewed sense of confidence, Olivia vows to embrace life.
