Threesome (1994, directed by Andrew Fleming) — Through the Shattered Lens

Due to the type of administrative mix-up that always happens in the movie but rarely in real life, a college has assigned female student Alex (Lara Flynn Boyle) to share a dorm room with two males, Eddy (Josh Charles) and Stuart (Stephen Baldwin). Stuart is an outwardly obnoxious jock while Eddy is a sensitive and […]

Review: Hell or High Water (2016) — Five Minute Film

For my first review, I wanted to watch a movie that I had seen before and knew was good, but also one that I feel I may not have fully appreciated the first time around. Nevertheless, considering it is a personal favorite of someone whose movie opinion I regard very highly, I felt it was time to give it another shot. Here is my review for Hell or High Water:

documentaryfestival's avatarDocumentary Film Festival. Los Angeles & Toronto

No joke, man. Netflix is churning out a lot of film choices in the last few years, or have at least become a monumental distribution point for smaller budget and foreign made films.
